What better reason for portraits than to celebrate 16 years of marriage! I met Brandon + Tracie at St. James Court in Old Louisville to document their love for each other in a neighborhood that holds many early memories for them. I met Michael + Chelsea at a wedding several years ago and was so excited to see they finally got engaged and even more excited when Chelsea contacted me about taking some portraits together! These two are getting married on the beach in the Dominican Republic next month but with a winter wedding they wanted some snuggly couple portraits in Louisville together too. With flurries falling this fun pair danced and laughed their way through the chilly December afternoon. Chris and Sarah started out as long distance friends from an internet game they played together but as life brought them geographically closer together their friendship blossomed closer too. Their love story continued to span thousands of miles as jobs, school and visiting family called for lots of time on the road both together and apart. Their hearts remained close regardless of the distance and lead them here- to their wedding day! They wed under cool Saturday with overcast skies on October 13th. Meet Raegan! This sweet and fierce high school senior is an incredible volleyball player and is off to Rhodes College next year. We spent an afternoon in downtown Lexington showing off her personality and it was such a blast! Join us to see the magic we created together.

An Irish boy and Colorado girl met in Kentucky the old fashioned way- through mutual friends at a bar! These two horse lovers went their separate ways for five years but eventually reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history! Eventing and horse training keep them traveling and apart quite a bit but when they’re together this pair keep each other smiling and laughing. David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day.
