Zainab's Rukhsati Bridal Portraits
Zainab met her husband, Humza, while in college. The college sweethearts married in 2017 but had an unusually long gap between their next Muslim marriage celebrations planned to be held in 2020. With the world rocked by a pandemic they changed course and held their Rukhsati, a traditional send off by the elders of the family, at Zainab’s parent’s home in Lexington, KY.
The McBears Take Engagement Photos
Meet Michael + Maggie, also known amongst family and friends as the McBears. They are a hilarious and self proclaimed nerdy pair that love puzzles, escape rooms and working out together. They even got engaged after a live game of Clue in downtown Louisville. Zack + Amy met as students at the University of Kentucky and found themselves back in Lexington to tie the knot! They chose Fasig Tipton, a gorgeous Thoroughbred Auction Company with grounds right in the heart of the bluegrass and blanketed in a soft layer of beautiful fall leaves. Shakertown Engagement | Jeff + Lyna
Jeff + Lyna met in St. Louis years ago shortly after she had moved to town. Since then these two still call St. Louis home and travel often. Their travels often bring them to Lyna's hometown in Kentucky! On one of their visits we drove to Shakertown for a gorgeous fall evening to snap some engagement pictures for this perfect pair.
