Jessica was the type of girl who swore she’d never get married… until she met Mathew- obviously. :) As plans came together they decided on an intimate wedding on Earth Day, April 22nd, with sunrise ceremony plans in place… life dealt them a new card- a pandemic. They persevered with their original date and got married on the front lawn of Jessica’s mother’s house with an intimate affair but traded sunrise for sunset and spaced chairs for their family 6 feet apart. It was a day filled with joy that turned out absolutely perfect for them. I hope you enjoy seeing some favorites!

When Izabela studied abroad at the University of Kentucky many years ago she fell in love with Kentucky and decided to come back for Graduate School! Although she had to leave her beloved Belgian Malinois pup home in Brazil, her fiancé, Marcio, came to Kentucky with her. They decided to get married with an intimate courthouse ceremony and celebration in Lexington!

What better reason for portraits than to celebrate 16 years of marriage! I met Brandon + Tracie at St. James Court in Old Louisville to document their love for each other in a neighborhood that holds many early memories for them. Their energy was infectious, they laugh so easily (which you should be able to tell :)) and by the end I was absolutely feeling #relationshipgoals. Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!

Elias + Bri are welcoming a second princess to their family this summer but before she arrives they wanted a fairytale inspired maternity session and I knew just the place! :) I chased their first born little fairy through the ivy and spring blooms while also encouraging Bri to "stare out at your Kingdom"- haha!

Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day. THE 80’s. Anyone who was around for them secretly has their scrunchies, hot pants and prom dresses stored in closet waiting for their comeback.
