Steven and Monika are Kentucky natives and travel nurses. They currently live full-time in an RV in Reno, Nevada with their precious pups. On a recent trip back to Kentucky we visited Red River Gorge to document their love for each other and their sense of adventure at Grays Arch (where they shared one of their first dates) and Miguels Pizza! While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. I hope that chemistry shines through in their photos and I can.not.wait to be part of their multi cultural celebrations this fall! Enjoy! <3

Jaron + Anna are expecting a baby girl in the next few weeks! Although they currently live in Alabania, it was on a summer visit back to Kentucky that they decided to celebrate the pregnancy of their child with a photoshoot. They met me at sunrise before the summer heat set in and we frolicked int the sunflowers. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from our time together! :)

For a couple who spent most of their lives living within 15 minutes of each other they finally started hanging out due to geographical convenience when they both moved to Cincinnati in 2016. Since then they’ve built a life together in Over the Rhine with their cats Godric and Helga. They got engaged last summer in the industrial loft home they share, much like Monica and Chandler did on “Friends”. Decidedly non-traditional, they chose to celebrate their love with a Friday elopement in Alms Park, portraits in Over the Rhine, the neighborhood where they fell in love, drinking at their favorite dives and a next day dance party at the Oscar Event Center with their favorite loved ones. It was truly very them! Enjoy!

While on a family vacation to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky Addy, who’s 6, fell in love with the ornament display at the park and suggested that her Mom, Cathy, and her fiancé of 3 years, Nate, should getting married there. After years of procrastinating the planning of a big wedding they took Addy’s suggestion seriously and put a wedding together in just 6 DAYS! Cathy’s grandfather officiated the ceremony and their closest family members (and a collection of horse park visitors that evening) watched them step inside the ornament and have an impromptu ceremony inside the ornament! Jared met Megan while studying at Eastern Kentucky University but it took years of their paths crossing for him to finally ask her on a date. A few years later at 11:11, a time that Megan always makes a wish, Jared told Megan his wish and they were officially engaged! Fast forward to October 6th, the day they said "I do!" under partly cloudy skies at the Cedar Springs Pavilion in Tipp City, Ohio. Their Great Gatsby inspired celebration was an unforgettable day. Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. Rachel + Seth met through mutual friends but the love story begins with her hopping on the back his motorcycle and everything just clicked! They spent a lot of days driving country roads together so we let that inspire their engagement session in Lexington, Kentucky. We stopped at Eckert's Boyd Orchard, Pisgah Church and ended our mini country drive at Keeneland. Luckily the fall colors were showing off and it was a magical fall afternoon in November. <3 Join us for their laughter, energy and beautiful smiles!

An Irish boy and Colorado girl met in Kentucky the old fashioned way- through mutual friends at a bar! These two horse lovers went their separate ways for five years but eventually reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history! Eventing and horse training keep them traveling and apart quite a bit but when they’re together this pair keep each other smiling and laughing.
