Let's Go To The Prom | Joe + Tivoli

THE 80’s. Anyone who was around for them secretly has their scrunchies, hot pants and prom dresses stored in closet waiting for their comeback. Joe + Tivoli found a few era treasures someone cast back into the world and strutted them to the Burl in Lexington, Kentucky for the 80’s prom! But no fits-like-a-glove 80’s gem can go without a fashion show, some old school video games and little awkwardness- amiright? Enjoy their incredibly fun arcade photoshoot at the Burl Arcade.

Pickin' n' Dumplings | Ao Family

Join us for an afternoon at the Eckert Boyd Orchard and making homemade lamb dumplings with the Ao family in Lexington, Kentucky. Not only is important to have beautiful images with your family but it’s also important to have documentation of family traditions- like making dumplings from scratch for dinner. The little things are big things and it’s certainly a day I felt so honored to be invited to. Enjoy!

Morales Mini Session

I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3

The Littlest Wright

Luke + Kendall invited me to their new home in the Chicagoland area to spend an evening with them, their fur babies and their newest addition, Silas! It was such a joy to see them in a new role as mom and dad, eat Italian take out and get to veg on the couch together the next day. Silas is one loved little guy that has playing baseball, cheering for the Cats and possibly attending UK in the class of 2041 in his future ;)

A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days I’ve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house.
