This adorable pair met at church in their hometown of Madisonville, Kentucky- which was the setting for their engagement session! We strolled through downtown, stopped by their church (which included their senior scout projects built next to each other years before they ever met) and ended the evening at sunset on the land where they’ll build their home together.

The Reynolds Family recently moved in to a beautiful home in Ashland, Kentucky and their little ladies are turning 1 and 3 so there was a lot to celebrate during our recent photoshoot together. We enjoyed a warm evening in their backyard, had a tea party, painted with Dad and ended the evening with a flower milk bath to get some extra special portraits of the girls. Belle also bribed me into having chocolate ice cream with them before I headed home so I obviously had to make good on that deal :). Enjoy some of my favorites from their portrait session below! <3

Drew + Nazeeha met in medical school and have since traveled the world together. This hilarious, compassionate and fun loving pair even got engaged in the Himalayan mountains. They married on first weekend in October at the Vintage Barn at Merefield Farm in Midway, Kentucky in 2019 with a two day, multicultural celebration. Trey + Julia married on a warm Saturday afternoon in September surrounded by their children, family and closest friends in Versailles, Kentucky at Wildside Winery, a place they love to visit together. I was up before the sun on a very hot July morning to join Alexis Sheffield and her Corgi, Remy, out on the farm to pick flowers for her business Wild Roots Farmer Florist. We chatted as the sun rose and dew wet her jeans and feet about the schedule her life takes in the colorful months. All the hours outside of her 9-5 job are spent tending the garden, picking flowers, assembling beautiful arrangements for deliveries, bouquets, and weddings- and we laughed when I asked her literally sit and immerse herself in the marigolds <3 Join us out in the field and see how beautiful her hard work is.
