This adorable pair met at church in their hometown of Madisonville, Kentucky- which was the setting for their engagement session! We strolled through downtown, stopped by their church (which included their senior scout projects built next to each other years before they ever met) and ended the evening at sunset on the land where they’ll build their home together.

This adorable crew is adding a little boy to the family soon! They met me on a beautiful day in Louisville to document this sweet time in their lives together at the Brown Forman Silo Center in the Parklands.

When Izabela studied abroad at the University of Kentucky many years ago she fell in love with Kentucky and decided to come back for Graduate School! Although she had to leave her beloved Belgian Malinois pup home in Brazil, her fiancé, Marcio, came to Kentucky with her. They decided to get married with an intimate courthouse ceremony and celebration in Lexington!

What better reason for portraits than to celebrate 16 years of marriage! I met Brandon + Tracie at St. James Court in Old Louisville to document their love for each other in a neighborhood that holds many early memories for them. Their energy was infectious, they laugh so easily (which you should be able to tell :)) and by the end I was absolutely feeling #relationshipgoals. Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!

Drew + Nazeeha met in medical school and have since traveled the world together. This hilarious, compassionate and fun loving pair even got engaged in the Himalayan mountains. They married on first weekend in October at the Vintage Barn at Merefield Farm in Midway, Kentucky in 2019 with a two day, multicultural celebration. While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. Meet The Coach House at Zorro Event Center! Is it weird to meet a building? Not when it’s one of the most gorgeous new event spaces in Lexington, Ky! Located in an area popular for fox hunting the Spanish word for fox, Zorro, is a fitting name for this gorgeous newly built barn set in the bluegrass countryside. It’s seamless interior boasts stone floors, reclaimed wood walls, hidden entrances off the main space and multiple sets of double doors that open up to views of the surrounding fields and forest (and none of that includes the phenomenal upstairs spaces!). Almost seven years ago I was standing in this exact spot photographing Brendan + Dominique on their wedding day. Things have changed quite a bit for them since then so with their anniversary coming up we planned a quick mini family session while they were in Louisville in the same spot they said, “I do!”. It was so special to see them again and attempt to recreate an image they love from their wedding day- but with four kiddos in the frame too. Enjoy! <3

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3
